It is Incorvus’ policy to conduct all aspects of its business with regard to social responsibility.

Policy aims

Incorvus’ Corporate Social Responsibility policy acknowledges its place within a wider environment. Incorvus recognises and respects that larger ecosystem (people, natural world and resources) and expects to convey this appreciation in its own responsible, professional conduct, ethics and actions.

Policy elements

Incorvus’ social responsibilities are twofold: compliance and proactivity. Compliance refers to Incorvus’ commitment to legality and willingness to observe community values. Proactivity is with regard to initiatives that positively promote human rights, help communities and protect the natural environment.

Policy statement

This policy applies to all permanent and fixed-term staff employed by Incorvus and any contractors, consultants or other persons acting under or on behalf of Incorvus.

Incorvus will:

  • Respect the law;
  • Honour its internal policies;
  • Ensure that all its business operations are legitimate;
  • Keep every partnership and collaboration open and transparent.
  • Promote safety and fair dealing;
  • Respect the client;
  • Have regard to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-slavery and data protection legislation and practices.

Protecting the environment

Incorvus recognises the need to protect the natural environment. Keeping the environment clean and unpolluted is a benefit to all. Incorvus will be responsible when disposing of refuse and the disposal of any chemical substances.

Notwithstanding legal obligations, Incorvus will proactively protect the environment. Examples of relevant activities include:

  • Recycling;
  • Conserving energy;
  • Preferring bicycles to use of company cars where feasible;
  • Using environmentally-friendly technologies.

Protecting people

Incorvus will have care that its procedures:

  • Do not knowingly risk the health and safety of itself and the community;
  • Avoid harming the lives of local people;
  • Support diversity and inclusion.

Human rights

Incorvus is dedicated to protecting human rights. It is a committed equal-opportunity employer and will abide by all fair labour practices, ensuring that its activities do not directly, or indirectly, violate human rights in any country (e.g. forced labour).

Responsible causes

Incorvus may preserve a budget from which to support charitable causes appropriate to this policy or which assist Incorvus itself toward greater sustainability. Incorvus will encourage employees to volunteer, through programs organized externally, in support of responsible causes.

Supporting the community

Incorvus may initiate and support community investment and educational programs. It may provide support to non-profit organisations or movements to promote cultural and economic development of global and local communities.

Learning

Incorvus will actively invest in continual improvement, be open to suggestions and listen carefully to such ideas. Incorvus aims to continuously improve the way it operates. Incorvus will readily act to promote its identity as a socially aware and responsible business. Management will communicate this policy on all levels and will be responsible for resolving any issues covered by this policy.
